new year's priority: remember to love the Lord your God!

remember!
1. The Lord your God is sovereign over your life - He has led you through the wilderness.
2. He humbles you and tests you to know if you are truly sincere in your obedience to Him.
3. He humbles you, let's you be hungry and feds you that you understand that man does not live by bread alone but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.
4. He disciplines you as a loving Father, yet He still gives you what you need to live.
5. He expects you keep His commandments, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
6. He satisfies you with good things so that you bless the Lord your God.
7. He warns against forgetting Him, by not keeping His law, otherwise when you are satisfied with countless good things that come from Him - your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who has led you through the great and terrible wilderness.
8. He humbles you and tests you - to do good for you to the end, otherwise you might say that you are the source of your work, provision and blessings 'My power and the strength has of my hand made me this wealth.' - and not God. Remember He gives you the power to make wealth!
9. He is jealous for your allegiance, your service, and worship of Him alone.
10. To listen to the voice of the Lord.
~ Deuteronomy 8
But I have this against you, that you have left your FIRST LOVE. Therefore REMEMBER from where you have fallen (wilderness, hell, out of His realm of protection), and REPENT (turn away, humble yourself), and DO the DEEDS (obedience, allegiance, living by His Word) at FIRST!
~ Revelation 2:2-7
